​Eve has done a little bit of everything and when she makes a commitment to something, she put 120% effort into it.

• SCOUT LEADER - Super involved Scout Leader at the unit, district and council levels through organizing various kid focused activities and events such as Mission Peak Yo-Yo Day, Cub Scout Day Camp, Cub Scout VIP Pokémon Meet-up, and so much more!                                                                                                                                                                            
• PRISON PROFESSOR - ​Teaches college courses at Elmwood Correctional Facility in Milpitas to help give incarcerated men a change to navigate back into a successful career upon release.                                                                                                                                                                                          
• NEWARK SMALL BUSINESS OWNER - ​She owns a Spanish translation company here in our own city of Newark called FRESA LINGUISTICS (www.FRESALinguistics.com) where she works with doctors, lawyers, schools and many other organizations to effectively communicate with the Spanish speaking demographics of the area.                                                                                                                                                         
• COLLEGE PROFESSOR - Absolutely loves teaching her students about the Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism industries and is always networking to help her CSUEB and Mission College students find the perfect job for them in our hospitality and recreation industries.                                                                                                                                                                                                          
• JAYCEE VOLUNTEER - Volunteered as a Jaycee (Junior Chamber of Commerce) for over a decade with a focus on multiple events and community projects such as Toy Chest, Star of Hope, Consular Ball, and Five Outstanding Houstonian awards just to name a few.                                                                                                                                                                                       
• VOLUNTEER WRITER - Writes positive and happy articles for the Tri-City Voice newspaper highlighting wonderful people doing great things for our community.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         
• AFRICAN DIPLOMATIC WORK - Worked at the Consulate of Ghana in Houston as the Director of Consular Affairs, helping native Ghanaians and foreigners get their travel visas and documentation to travel to this amazing country in West Africa.                                                                                                                                                                                                                            
• OFFICIAL DIVE PIRATE VOLUNTEER - Volunteered for several years as the Live Pirate Auctioneer at the Dive Pirate Ball, an organization that helps teach paraplegic veterans, blind individuals and others with disabilities how to scuba dive through adaptive scuba diving.                                                                                                                                                                                                                      
• SHARK SCUBA DIVER - Worked with the Downtown Aquarium in Houston as the shark tank cleaner as well as the underwater shark program diver where she would talk to kids with her underwater microphone and teach others about the importance of sharks in the underwater ecosystem.                                                                                                                                                                                                                          
• CHINESE FESTIVAL EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - Planned and executed several dozen Texas Dragon Boat Festivals and Regattas for over 50 dragon boat teams from around the world in the land logistics, water planning, vendor relations, etc. so others can learn more about this Chinese rowing tradition.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        
• CHILDREN BOOK AUTHOR - Wrote and published an award-winning children's illustrated book for ages 4-10 called Who wants to be friends with a Dragon?, a cute story about a lonely dragon looking for friend with a focus on empathy and kindness for all in today's society. • RESPONSIBLE NEWARK CITIZEN - Always puts her shopping cart back after using it!
